Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Code Nation website and LMS platform (\"Platform\"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (\"Terms\"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users, including learners, administrators, and institutional partners.

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at hello@codenation.ng.

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Reproduce, distribute, or republish any Platform content without written permission
• Share your account credentials with third parties
• Submit false information in program applications
• Use the Platform to transmit any harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Attempt to circumvent any security features of the Platform
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Platform
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform or its servers

Sponsored programs: Enrolment in sponsored programs is subject to application approval by Code Nation or the sponsoring institution. Approval is not guaranteed. Code Nation reserves the right to revoke enrolment if false information was provided in an application.

Paid programs: Enrolment in paid programs is confirmed upon successful payment verification via Paystack. Access is granted immediately after verification.

Program availability: Code Nation reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any program at any time with reasonable notice to enrolled learners.

All payments are processed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) via Paystack, a licensed payment service provider. By initiating a payment, you agree to Paystack\'s terms of service.

Refund policy: Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of payment and before accessing more than 20% of the program curriculum. Refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Contact billing@codenation.ng to initiate a refund request.

We do not store your payment card details. All payment data is handled by Paystack in accordance with their PCI DSS compliance standards.

All content on the Platform — including curriculum materials, video content, assignments, and branding — is the property of Code Nation or its licensors and is protected by copyright.

Learners are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access curriculum content for personal learning purposes only. This licence does not permit redistribution, resale, or use of content for commercial purposes.

Project and assignment submissions remain the intellectual property of the submitting learner. By submitting, you grant Code Nation a non-exclusive licence to reference your work for educational and promotional purposes, with attribution.

Code Nation reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to other users, staff, or the integrity of the Platform.

You may deactivate your account at any time by contacting hello@codenation.ng.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Code Nation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
